The Sound Machine features all the original members of "The Miami Sound Machine." Apart from the individual credits, they have backed not only Gloria Estefan, but also Jon Secada, Paul Simon, Stevie Wonder, Whoopi Goldberg, Queen Latifah, Madonna, Arturo Sandoval, Sheila E., Shakira, Carlos Ponce, Carlos Vives, and Soranya. The band was also the house band for The Hispanic Heritage Awards in Washington, D.C. from 1998 through 2003.
